Here is a strategy to help you get the flags. Hop from one flag to the next closest flag. The enemies will try to make this impossible to do. Try not to go into reverse unless you know that it is safe. When you choose between getting close to the enemy in order to get your flag, forget the flag and go for one farther away. Keep as much distance between you and other cars as you possibly can.

Choosing what direction
Choosing what direction you are going in, clock-wise or counter-clockwise is important; once you choose your direction, stick to it through the whole stage. Smoke screens will use up fuel very quickly, so be careful how often you use them. You don’t want to run out of gas before you can get all 10 of your flags.

As the mazes advance
As the mazes advance through the stages, challenge modules occur on the 3rd, 7th, and every 4th round after that. During these stages you can collect all of the flags without the enemy harassing you to the point you end up using all your fuel and still don’t have your flags. You still have to be careful not to crash into parked cars and rocks.
